Management of molar pg:
Clinical features :
Symptoms:
1Short period of amenorrhoea
2.Exaggerated symptoms of early pg
3.Irregular vaginal bleeding which may heavy
4.Weight lose
5.faigue
6.Malaise
Signs:
General examination:
*ill locking,
*anaemia
*weight loss
*oedema
*HTN
Per abd examination :
*Size of uterus may be larger then the gestational ages
*Fetal part arenot felt
*fetal Heart sound not present
P/V/Examination :
If cervical OS is opened, molar tissue may be found
INVESTIGATION :
USG of uterus and adnexae
*Urine -beta HCG elevated
Pg test +ve
*Biopsy
*Serum HCG quantitative
Treatment :
1.suction curettage of the mole when no mole has been expelledoutexpelledout blood transfusion is to given simultaneously.
2.D& C
3.Oxytocin
4.Antibiotic
5.Hysterectomy if pt >40 year and complete
